About Me

I am a 2026 summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of a top 30 liberal arts college.

But I didn't get into college because I graduated in the top of my high school class or had great SAT scores. What I did have was a compelling narrative based on my extracurricular and outside of school activities, stitched together with an essay that showcased all the unique traits and talents I would bring to the next 4 years of my life.

I wound up getting into two of my top choice colleges. I punched above my weight in the college admissions process, and I believe much of it was due to the essay I crafted. Now let me do the same for you or your student. The process of creating this essay will be based on an informal, casual interview, then subsequent conversations, until a draft is written that we edit and polish together. The process should be a warm, empathic, and even fun one.

College admissions is a high stakes, high stress journey. But the essay can be a high point. And if done right, it can even become one of the factors getting you to YES on decision day!
